The Warsaw Home 2024 trade fair is behind us, where UMMO lighting appeared with premiere collections. At our booth we presented complete novelties and several bestselling models in refreshed colors. What exactly happened during the few intense days of this year's fair? Read on and see our report.
Premiere of six collections
The fair was an excellent opportunity to premiere the presentation of as many as six new collections of UMMO lighting. Each of them brings freshness to the brand's offer. Design-wise, we have completely moved away from what we were best associated with, i.e. milky-white glass lampshades and a mostly monochromatic color scheme. What are we betting on today? Definitely on more variety! Both in terms of forms and colors.
The Malumi collection is characterized by its minimalist oval shape and built-in LED panel. A novelty is the intense orange used in the design, which we applied for the first time in the brand's history.
The Riflo wall lamps and the Flumina family are our nod to fluted glass. Its undoubted advantage is the refraction of light. The Caponio collection surprised with an elongated round shade divided by a simple lampshade. The luminaires in this series were shown in melon and dove blue, which also did not appear so far in the color palette of the UMMO lighting brand.
The Funsui collection, consisting of a chandelier, wall lamp and table lamp, is based on standard E14 bulbs, but in a completely different way. In this line we play with fine metal arches, which take on a very elegant form conquered by a navy blue color scheme. The Senkei series consists of a narrow, elongated metal lampshade with a built-in LED panel, making it look very modern.
Bestselling models in new colors
We decided to refresh several bestsellers of Ummo lighting. The Rokke, Supuru and Plaat collections have gained completely new color versions. The Rokke collection appeared on our stand in as many as 6 variants - navy blue, pink, blue, olive, yellow and red.
We presented two-color Supuru wall lamps - in total we mixed as many as 6 colors in 14 different combinations. In turn, Plaat pendant lamps visitors to the booth could see in two versions - olive and navy blue.
Our turn to color was met with an enthusiastic reception. Visitors to the Ummo lighting zone eagerly photographed the walls with colorful lamps, and even took sessions against their background.
Recent novelties and well-known collections
At our booth, visitors could see the recently introduced Yottsu and Jingu collections, as well as the Rokke Stone model - a stone variant of the hit wall lamp. These proposals already gave a foretaste of how the UMMO lighting portfolio is evolving.
The stand also featured the well-known and well-loved Torni and Sallo collections. One wall was dedicated to the Epli Mini series of waterproof lamps. We are constantly developing our IP44 lighting offer, which is very popular with our customers.
About the booth
What certainly attracted more visitors to the lighting pavilion to our booth were the colors! This year's brand zone was full of color, thanks to the lamps and the blue and pink stand arrangement. We were repeatedly told that our display was the prettiest in the entire fair, not just among lighting exhibitors. This showed us that weeks of hard work had paid off.
We also took care of promotional materials. Catalogs, flyers, samplers and canvas bags awaited visitors. All the goodies pleased quickly sold out. In the first two days alone, we distributed as many as 1,000 flyers.
New contacts
Our presence at Warsaw Home 2024 not only allowed us to present our products, but also to build new business relationships. We handed out several hundred business cards, establishing contacts with potential customers and partners, including many from abroad.
Everyone who associated the brand with the subdued color scheme reacted very positively to this twist on the offer. Lamps with built-in LED modules, such as Malumi, Yottsu and Senkei, were also very well received. During the fair, we sold as many as 13 lamps from the display, which showed us that the new collections were well liked by fair participants.
Summary
The Warsaw Home fair this year was even more successful for us than the previous ones. Our colorful stand was very popular, and the novelties stole many hearts. We had a ton of inspiring conversations and acquired new contacts. All that remains for us to say is: see you next year!
